KURLEIGH GITTENS JR. of Ottawa, who, for the second straight year, is a first team all-star at multiple positions. As in 2017, Gittens Jr. earns the honors as both a receiver and a kick returner, becoming the second Golden Hawk to ever be named a first team all-star at multiple positions in more than one season. As a receiver, Gittens Jr. carried over his MVP performance from a year ago into 2018, leading the conference in receptions for the second consecutive season with 64. That mark helped him establish a new OUA record for career receptions that now stands at 206.

Through the air, he accumulated 792 yards and three touchdowns, finishing third in the conference in yards per game.
In the return game, Gittens Jr. finished second in the conference in punt return yards with 413 while adding 117 kickoff return yards to give him an OUA-best 1365 all-purpose yards for the season.
